Today I'm sharing my game ready environment project for my third term in 3DSense Media School under mentorship with Venny Lie. The goal is to learn how to create a real time environment in Unreal Engine 5.0.3. I wanted to recreate the environment and ambience as close as possible to Cmy Cai's beautiful concept art.

I first modeled the environment in Maya, making sure the camera angle and FOV are correct before moving to actual modeling. Then I block out the furnitures using simple shapes to match the silhouettes. I used Zbrush to sculpt some furnitures that need highres and unique details. For other furnitures that are not as important or far away from the camera, I used trimsheets. I rendered the environment in Unreal Engine and Marmoset for the individual showcase.
